This topic forum was created to help aid both old and new off road enthusiasts in finding established trails, planning future trails, general trail resources, historic sites, etc. Many, like myself, have collected information from places like the internet, books, even first hand experience that might be helpful to others in enjoying our hobby. And by posting it here, hopefully can help others find that info by having it's own section without getting buried by other topics and general discussion within the message board.
If you have directions to a trail you'd like to share, please feel free to post the directions, trail rating (difficulty) and any other pertinent info.
Found a new book that has listings of nearby trails and directions, or have an old favorite guide, let us know.
Found a website that has good resources for planning new trails, link it up.
Looking for a new place to check out? Hopefully you can get some ideas here.
Found a place that has all the answers about GPS systems? Please share.
The only rule is to please use discretion when posting. If a website has pop-ups or other questionable attributes, please warn others when posting. Trail listings should have some sort of rating of difficulty, whether it be a universal rating (what a club would rate it) or at least what you feel would be the minimum requirements to do the trail and any problem areas along the trail. Also, historic sites that are in danger or protected by closures may not be likely candidates as posting their existence and how to get to them might only add to the dangers of their extinction. Not everyone who might read this info shares our ideas about experiencing and preserving our history.
