I posted this awhile ago in Facebook, but I don't think I ever mentioned it here. This website has free files that open in Google Earth and show the locations and names of mines. They aren't all in there, but loads of them are. A great resource!

Even more fun, with newer GPS models, you can open your tracks in Google Earth. That's one one of the first things I do after a jeep run. I open my track in Google Earth, and see where I went. Often, I see lots of new things that I want to check out the next time I am in the area.
